GOLD STANDARD OF DISC HARROWING
The DUCAT-GOLD heavy disc harrow is a versatile aggregate which performs all functions necessary for cultivation and seedbed preparation of fields with stubble remains or virgin lands.
DUCAT-GOLD can be applied for tilling areas with remains of high stalks of maize and sunflower, with a big amount of green manures used as green fertilizer. The harrow ensures uniform mixing of soil and plant residues to a depth of 5 to 20 cm, while working without blocking even with a large amount of organic mass.
ADVANTAGES
— Uniform cultivation
Two rows of discs are alternating with spacing of 16 cm and provide uniform cultivation.
— No blocking
Blocking with organic mass is eliminated due to high frame (70 cm). Rear rollers and support wheels provide precise work depth.
— Protection of tines
Double spring creates an optimal pressure on the tine, which keeps work depth when destroying remains of rough crops, and protects it from overloads.
— Hydraulic protection
DUCAT-GOLD has hydraulic lock for safe transportation of folded machine, which is activated by the tractor’s hydraulic system
— New discs of bigger diameter
Discs with diameter of 724 mm better cut stubble remains of rough crops and work at depth up to 20 cm.
—HARP AGRO UNIT bearing unit
Special bearing units have been developed for DUCAT-GOLD (from HARP AGRO UNIT series, which are widely used in agriculture machines and provide failure-free operation for a long term).
Bearing units have enhanced durability due to superreliable three-level protection of bearings, which, in turn, don’t require additional lubrication.
— Rollers
Rollers with diameter of 600 mm provide good load-bearing capacity on light soils. Rollers are equipped with maintenance-free bearing units HARP AGRO UNIT.
For simple depth adjustment rollers are hydraulically controlled from a tractor cab.
