I've been using DUCAT for several seasons. The harrow is unique due to its tines. I work at depth of 7 cm and I’m fully satisfied. The spring-loaded tine is reliable, and has already worked 2 seasons. Let me note, that we used DUCAT-5 on different soils and after different crops, and it showed good performance, especially in seedbed preparation. We use it for seedbed preparation (because it is light), for sowing barley, mustard.

The harrow has already worked more than 1200 ha. I use it at depth of 10 cm. It is design is suitable even for dry soil. Tractor with harrow rides very smoothly. I saw this implement at the exhibition. I was interested in the design, but I had some doubts concerning the uniform depth. On the first day of work we realized that this purchase will be compensated in many times by a lot of benefits.


A spring tine of the DUCAT provides fuel consumption, 3D protection of bearing unit (which eliminates breakage when hitting obstacles), self-cleaning of discs during work.

At first I was skeptical about purchasing of this machine, in particular about the announced operating depth, as I had some experience with domestic machines. But the practice has shown that the harrow had perfectly cultivated soil to a depth of 15 cm on the stubble, as well as on 400 hectares of sunflower without any complaints. DUCAT-5, which we bought this year, has a following system, consisting of two semi-frames of 2,5 m each, which provide perfect contours following and uniform harrowing of the soil at required depth.

The harrow’s speed is 15 km/h. It cultivates 60 ha per one shift and about several thousand a year. Fuel consumption is not very high, depending on working depth. Moreover, the harrow manufacturer is nearby, so you can always get the advice you need from people who have developed and assembled the harrow.
